Once again, Mirko Testa, the talented Bergamo-based athlete sponsored by MAK, has proven himself to be a key player in the world of handbiking, taking home two important bronze medals at the recent World Championships in Flanders. His determination and strength of mind led him to achieve exceptional results, once again demonstrating his worth on the international stage.
After placing tenth in the time trial for the MH3 category, Mirko won his first bronze in the road race, replicating the excellent result he already achieved at the last Paris Paralympics. With an impressive performance over the 61.6-kilometer course, he crossed the finish line in third place, just behind the uncatchable Frenchman Mathieu Bosredon and his compatriot Martino Pini.
The second bronze medal came on the final evening of the World Championships, in the Team Relay. Along with his teammates Davide Cortini and Luca Mazzone, Mirko helped bring Italy to the third step of the podium, fighting for the silver medal until the very last millimeter, narrowly missing out to France and Australia.
These successes fill not only his team, Active Team La Leonessa, with pride, but also MAK, which has long supported his extraordinary journey.
Mirko Testa‘s achievements perfectly embody the values of commitment and resilience that MAK also promotes. MAK is proud to support an athlete who, with his passion and courage, continues to inspire and reach ever more ambitious goals.
