Matteo Cressoni enchants the public at the 3 Hours of Monza, the first seasonal race of the prestigious Blancpain Endurance Series.
It seemed to be another tough race for the Matteo: a spectacular accident on the road, which resulted in the withdrawal of a dozen cars and forced suspension of the race, forces the co-driver Broniszewski to return to the box for a quick repair by the highly skilled mechanics of Kessel Racing.
On the new route, the Ferrari 488 GT3 starts at 11th position, with Broniszewski able to retrieve two positions during his turn. Cressoni starts his personal show at the second race time: starting from the 36th position in the car, he reached the 9th position, second in the PRO / AM category. The third and last hour of driving is conducted by companion Rizzoli, which closes the race by reconfirming the position reached by Matteo. A good start, despite a startup challenge: the next round of the Blancpain Endurance Series will be held in Silverstone (GB) on 13 and 14 May.
